How should we be prepared in a world where there are mass shootings?

The painful reality seems to suggest that we won't see the end of mass public shootings anytime soon. So what do we do about it? How do we prepare our minds and hearts for scenarios where we could be involved? Should we have a plan? Do men generally think about these situations and what they would do? Should they? We were in a very bad situation once traveling and had we not been armed and aware, we might not be here today to tell the tale. Sadly, this could be our new normal. We also introduce a crazy cliff-hanger with the Charlie Kirk assassination.
